Branislav Kaleta is a researcher studying urban green spaces using neuroscience and positive psychology. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Neuroscience and Neuroimaging, and applies neuroscience in exploring the benefits of urban green spaces on our psychological, physical, and emotional health. His favourite research area is the emotion of awe, which is closely tied to people’s experiences of nature and provides countless benefits for people’s health and wellbeing. Hiking through the mountains of his home country, Slovakia, is his favourite way of experiencing awe.
