Nature (Re)Connection in: French
Contact with nature has been an integral part of me since my childhood. From snails to birds, moss to large Douglas firs, or boletus cooked in a log placed in the stove, everything is linked to nature. My job as a forester gives me the opportunity to be in contact with the forest in all its facets. I like to share this passion and the many experiences that come with: planting a tree, recognizing a right-handed or left-handed squirrel, taking a moment to lie on the leaves...
Today, I am happy to be able to share the benefits that the forest on human health thanks to the training I followed at L’Université dans la Nature.
Some questions for Philippe
If you were a natural element, would you be...? An ant… working alone and cooperatively in a community. The anthill is a real ecosystem on its own, but still exists in a larger ecosystem. This complexity fascinates me.
Which sense instantly connects you to nature? Sight. My gaze will be attracted by a small or large element in nature and the rest of my body follows...
What natural object do you treasure in your home? The harp built for my wife. The used cherry wood partially comes from a tree planted by my father. When she plays the harp in the forest, it's pure happiness!
